Zion, Arches national park, Bryce canyon ... that's just the beginning!

I drove through sunset once on a friday night ... no one told me it was Gay night. That was the scariest situation I ever remember being in, in LA.
    this post = teh win.

You were at UCLA until you were 27, or did you just word that ambiguously and I'm interpreting it wrong? Anza Borrego is pretty near. I especially like to go just a little bit our from Miramar. You can see and especially hear the top gun fighters performing their games and drills out there.

I've been waterskiing in Arrowhead during the summer. I went to Joshua Tree last summer for the first time and loved it. Unfortunately the next chace I had to go was a few weekends ago when I was terribly swamped with work. I will be going again in March. Can't wait for summer to come so I can go more often. I also love camping at Sequoia, I will be going to Yosemite for the first time this spring, and for day trips hiking and finding the waterfalls near the Osborne stables is a neat little suprise. Horseback riding is also great fun. Especially if you take the beach trail. However, these things require some prior planning as well as sometimes a group of friends to comed along, so yeah I was looking for local things to do at night as well. I am not big into the 'clubbin' scene, although we did end up at the Sky bar a few weeks ago and on a good night The Standard is lots of fun, especially when you know people staying there and end up in the poor after dark.

Yes it would suck if the poor boy wasn't used to that kind of activity.

See? It even takes smart people 9 years to get out of that place.
