Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

              A - no I don't wear nail polish!

not satisfying eh? OK - perhaps I can answer some of the former Qs before askign mine...

A's - both - sex and food - can't do without either! (though I am starting a bit of a diet - we'll see how it goes...actually [my wife and I have decided that] our whole family is going to make a push to eat better - more green - less fat/sugar/starch - that sort of thing...we already eat alot of salads and fruit - so its just doing more - and less of the "bad" stuff) ..and yes do eat meat - most certainly (grilled two most excellent dry aged ribeyes the other day - just for the wife and I - yum yum! And tonight will be cooking some tandori chicken that I made up last night (marinating in the fridge at the moment)...and yes I do cook traditional Armenian as well - some things at any rate...Khorvats and pilaf for sure (often - and I do them well! - though my wife actually does Persian Basmati style rice better then I do our Pilaf!) - occasionally some other meat dishes such as Kufta and such....and my wife has been known to make the occasional Paklava and such...and I love Armenian coffee (I get "Ednas" great stuff - and I love other - high qulaity coffees too - grind the beans - not quite roasting my own yet [I have friends that do...]...perhaps in time..)...and purple grapes for me (red wine! that is...mostly...though love Suaterens - if you know what that is...) ...lets see - barefoot - most definately - I actually went through a period of my life - in my teens where I refused to wear shoes altogether....yup...and you wouldn't believe what kind of difficulties I had....so yeah - they broke me! - but I'm still inclined to go shoeless as much as possible...I even vanture out in the snow (like to get the mail/paper) without shoes on! and I have been known to do serious hikes (though the woods and when in Cali out in the desert...) and play tennis shoeless! really (with tennis I ussually tear up my feet pretty bad - lots of blood and blisters and such - the first time out for the season - but then my feet toughen up real good and no problems - to the point where I can walk on sharp rocks even glass without worry/problem....yup yup...no piercings, never dyed my hair (and I still have my hair!) - don't watch American Idol (or much other TV...West WIng every so often - great show)...and while I'm not scared fo growing old (in fact I hope to be able to grow old and watch my kids grow into adults and have their own adventures and families etc) - but I'm pissed that I can't live forever! Yeah - I want to see it all - experience it all - and I'm so very curious about the future....

              So...

Q - Are you positive or negative about the future of mankind? (and feel free to elaborate)....

                a. i am the same way about nail polish as armobarbi (only with friends)
                a. i love cooking and i cook all sorts of armenan traditional dishes... i even just bought an armenian cook book, its full of so many variations of the same dishes i can make, but its great because i can try out new things, in new way... i love armenian food, i dont know why? but i never get tired of khorovats or dolma (with out without meat) and the stuffed peppers and eggplants, etc... i recommend a cook book because its more acurate... and when my mom tells me how to make something, she says "ohhh by the measure of the eye" and i think WHAT IS THAT? so now i know, for salt its a teaspoon, etc... althought i know i will become this way when i am her age too... a pro!
                a. i am realisitic about the future of HUMANITY (mankind), unless you actually ment men, then i am negative...
                a. i wear slippers at home, sometimes socks, and i also sleep in my socks sometimes...
                a. i can't live without sex or food, but if i had to choose, i would pick food... i can always make myself happy later

                Q. what is your favorite fruit?
