          It's too bad that people actually care about this kind of thing. Mexicans came here to make money; presumably if they're still here, they're making enough. Who cares what they call the place?

              Do you mean technically it was part of Mexico? I can check a map again, but I'm pretty sure it's within US borders.

                  LA is freaking Mexico. Border or no border, it doesn't seem like it makes a difference. I think at this point maybe they should just make all the illegal aliens (I'd rather not be 'politically correct' with the whole 'undocumented workers' or 'document challenged' bullcrap ) legal so that at least they will have to pay taxes on the money they make and maybe aid the economy that way, since it's all their kids that make up a huge percentage of public school students that we pay for with our tax money.

                    Yeah, it used to be apart of it- that's what I meant. This land here all used to belong to them. Anyway, who cares.
