In some cases I do, in others I don't. It depends on the shape of the eyebrows, the particular face and other factors! There are no universal esthetic rules/values.
We do what we please and tolerate others. I pay attention to esthetics - far more than the average person - but I would never allow myself to arrogantly mock those who do have different esthetic values.

It's fine to judge others, it's not fine to impose your views on others. People confuse the two.

Please keep in mind that judgement+peer pressure = imposition!

Not only it has to do with American Bigotry and Cultural Oppression; but it is an aspect of it. Outside of the US, It is very unusual to hear arrogant statements such as

I am very concerned with the obvious intolerance towards sub-cultures and/or other cultures. The destruction of cultural diversity - including esthetic values - is a form of Ethnocide. Cultural uniformity is a form of oppression when it is not yours and is imposed.
If you have lived most of your life in the US, you may not see how alarming is the situation may be.

You can stop doubting! Some obsessive phobia - such as the one we're discussing - is particularly American. I insist on the choice of the word "phobia:" it's not an exaggeration!
We all have our esthetic preferences, but tolerance should not be scarified.

I do judge, its natural. I do not inflict pressure. Someone else's unibrow is not for me to pluck. lol I simply notice it, but keep my mouth shut. I would not like it if someone told me to not shape my eyebrows or wear my hair differently, etc etc...its not their place to. Its only fair to give them the same treatment that I want from them.

There is the question of....being in a relationship...would you tell your bf/gf to pluck for you (if thats in fact what you prefer)? I would if it was a serious enough relationship....although...any guy Id date wouldnt have a unibrow in the first place. lol If I didnt shape my eyebrows, and my bf asked me to, I would.
