Who has seen the movie, "Requiem for a Dream"?
I had heard a lot of good things about it, and last year, I just went out and bought it. I've seen it a few times now that I own it, and I love it. That movie, just makes you think a lot. It changes your views on a lot of things. I haven't met a single person who hasn't liked it. The message that comes across with it is great. But what's just as good as the movie is the music from it. The theme song, the Summer/Winter Overtures, and the Orchestral Version of the song- composed by Clint Mansell.
The movie is great. It's one of the most underrated movies, ever. Directed by Darren Aronofsky, starring Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Ellen Burstyn. It's a movie showing the audience the outcome of the use of different types of drugs- pills, heroin, etc. Just watch it.
The music is outstanding. When I heard the theme, I fell in love with it. I downloaded the different ones eventually and, it just tells a story. I love everything about it, the composer is a genius. I used one of them in a recent song of mine (song using only instruments, telling a story). I'm a person who dedicates all his time and life to music. Everything about music fascinates me, the production and the quality, and I'm one of those few who likes every type of music. Below are some links to the songs- check them out.
