I really want to buy www.one-way.com and I only want that one, no other name, but it's taken. I think it was someone on this board who once told me about a site where I can see when people's websites expire and everything, and that one expires July 2006. I was wondering if there's any other way to buy that site, but there probably isn't unless I contact them and they agree to give it to me or something.

Another question. Does anybody know where the best place to buy a site is? And, how much do they cost? 'Preciate the help.

I got a domain for someone from www.webdomains4u. At the time it was one of the cheapest.

It says I can backorder www.one-way.com for $18.95, but it doesn't expire till next year and it's not for sure they'll grab it. I can just do that myself. Gay. The rest, such as, www.one-waymusic.com or any other name after it, just doesn't interest me.

I'll find out who hosts mine... I think it was a crazy promo including hosting for year for like a ridiculous price like $15-20. I didn't purchase or set up, so I dont know off hand, but I'll get back to you.

I wish. Go to www.one-way.com and look how dead that site is, I bet they never even use it. I can't find any contacts or else I would've reached them by now.

And Siggie, are you trying to say if I get in contact with you, some guy you know can hook me up with a site for $9 a year?

Not exactly. The company has a promo code I think for that deal, my bf has a couple domains registered through them with hosting, and he'd like it if you could list him as the person you were referred by (it asks when you're purchasing) because they get rewards or something.
So, he's not affiliated with them in any way other than being a client.
I asked him earlier, but he was in a hurry. This is what I understood. I can verify with him tonight and let you know specifics if you're interested.

Why do you want .com necessarily? What about .org or .net?

Thanks for asking him, I appreciate that. And I just want the .com, that's just the official-official one for me. I mean, I don't want to launch the site NOW, even though it would be kind of cool, 'cause I'm not ready to. But I would like to know I can do it when I want, and that I could get that one exactly.
