  • Well if it happened all of a sudden it is definitely the flu. Colds are usually slower but the flu just starts all of a sudden you can be sitting there and you will get hot and then the aches start and everything else.

    • Crap. I don't want the flu. I'm in finals week. What can I do now at least to sort of cool me down so I can sleep?

      • Do your sinusus feel congested or your head? And remember Tylenol or Vicodin (which would help so much more ) will only hide the symptoms, it never cures what is making you sick nor does it fight it, just relieves it for a few hours.

The book I am reading Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About also says stuff that hides the symptoms actually makes it harder in the long run to get rid of the cause because when your body temp. goes up it is actually fighting whatever is in your body causing it, but when you take Tylenol it takes your temp. down and your body thinks it's ok when it is not so it makes it harder for you to get better and might add days to your flu. But of course if you can't take it anymore I would obviously suggest you hide the symptoms.

Stuff like taking a lot of vitamins, water, echinacea, zinc, theres so many more that if you need them I can list. These things will interrupt what is happening in your body and put it to a halt.

        • Thanks, I'm drinking a bunch of water now, and already had tylenol. Will be resting shortly. Goodnight.

Honestly though if you did have Vicodin, it would relax you a lot and make you forget about the aches and pains, but I'm not so sure you would have it.

            • Nope, no Vicodin. Tylenol kinda helped so far. If it gets worse I found some nyquil. I need some rest and alot of water, thats about the only way I guess to beat the flu.

                • Also, Tamiflu helps shorten the length of a flu by half if you take it within 36 hours of your flu happening. And don't mind me, im just bored and typing away so you don't have to keep responding.

There's no such thing as flu. It's all in your head. Drugs won't help, but a healthy diet and excersise will.

You seem to get sick very very often. That's not good dude.
