And ArmoBarbi - I think its likely better for you that things turned out as they did. You likely aren't even the same person now as you were then (and will be) - would you necisarily want to be with the same guy? Don't be in any rush...

"Things turned out the way they did" because I said "No" to his proposal. I was in love, but I had the foresight to know that he wasn't the man I wanted to spend my life with. I am against divorce, so no matter how much I wanted to marry him - I didn't let myself.

Unasked for advice annoys me. (sorry, just telling you honestly) I don't need any advice, when I do - I'll ask for it.

I had one long relationship, but we never made a big deal out of anniversaries...

My longest relationship was 5months but it took me a year to get over him (we wanted different things in life, so I broke things off even though I liked him SO MUCH)... and right when I though I was over him we got back together again... but of course, it didn't work out! We got back together probably another two times but I guess it's just not meant to be...
