The spying they are doing on Americans is also MUCH more than tapping phones, reading emails, etc.

The satellite images that were declassified (e.g., for Google Earth) are long obsolete. The ones they have now can zoom in on your eyelashes and much more.

Also, all sorts of other sources are contributing to this data collection on Americans. They know what you buy at the supermarket (You know those discount cards? The ones you need to get the ‘special’ price. That info is sold and combined with other info about you.) They know where you shop and when (ATM/Credit Cards.) They know who you call and what you buy and where you travel. Every American has a ‘profile.’

Those are just a few of the examples--there is MUCH much more that our tax dollars have been paying the defense department.
