I did 85 MPH in my jeep once ... I was on a 7% downhill in Colorado with a strong tailwind. Usually by the time I hit 35-40 MPH I'm already in 5th (and last) gear.

Yah that's the one. I've driven it a few times now between WI and LA in the last 3 years (2000 miles each way).

The sucker rides REAL smooth on the freeway ... actually much better than stock. The problem is the I-6 4.0 liter has troubles getting it up to speed with the gearing that it has (and the larger tires). With the shocks on the softest setting, you would think you are riding a cadilac ... of course you don't want to do any sharp maneuvers or stupid things at high speeds as it'll be pretty easy to flip it.

I have some pictures of when I flopped it in an older thread around here ...
