I mean, okay. Where would it go?

I know I didn't take it home because my computer is way too slow to handle uploading. I know it's not at my girlfriend's house because her laptop doesn't support the connection.

Maybe it is at home... but why would it be? I know I left it here, at work, because this is where I do all my work. So it just disappeared??? I cleaned my desk a few weeks ago but I know I didn't take it home or anywhere else. If anything, it should be easier to locate now. I have my USB cable right here so where is the Firewire????

Where could it possibly be? Nobody else here knows anything about it -- they don't even remotely care. I NEED MY FIREWIRE NOW!
