As long as she does well wherever she goes, why should I be angered? Wherever is best for her, reardless of legacies and family ties, that's where she'll go.

That said, of course I would love it if she went to USC. The whole small class size experience, in addition to actually getting classes you want and graduating on time because classes are not always stuffed full of students is such a great thing. Not to mention following in the footsteps of my brother and myself. Eh, it's her choice... If she ends up at UCLA, then there will always be our future children who might choose to go to USC, even though I'd rather if they had the nerve (as I did not) to try for an even greater school, like Stanford, Princeton, etc..

            • UCLA > USC cry as much as you want, and your sister was wise to choose UCLA.

P.S. My weekend was better than yours and no amount of proofs can alter that.

Actually, USC>UCLA, on top of which, due to a need for government $$$ UCLA has chosen to indiscriminately admit every single student whose grades qualified the lowest #'s necessary for admission. Good luck to anyone who wants to get a class they need to graduate. hahaha. The only saving grace of going to UCLA, other than the fact that it is nice and cheap, is the fact that USC is reluctant to admit it's own undergrads into Law school and would rather take someone not already at USC. Given that it is such a great Law school my sister is better off doing undergrad at UCLA and Law school at USC, if she chooses to continue to study in Law.

p.p.s Yeah, my weekend was much better, by far. Don't be jealous.

UCLA receives only 20% of its funds from the government. As far as the law school, the fact that you don't go there shows that UCLA undergraduates seeking to apply to UCLA Law do not get in, for the simple reason that UCLA Law also likes to diversify its students and tends to discriminate against readmitting its own undergrads.
