Re: Ankap - Goal: 10,000 posts by New Year's Eve! We can do it!
Glenn Gould hated Mozart. He completely avoided the Sonata that the Turkish March comes from (it's the 3rd movement of K331). I read that last week.
I studied that Sonata yesterday for about 7 hours. I enjoyed studying it knowing that someone had avoided and despised it for its popularity and cheerfulness. After 6 hours, I decided to sketch my keyboard on paper, with cracks and warpholes instead of keys of the extremities of the keyboard I wanted to shake the piano's hand, or build one first because there wasn't one available. These things happen when I hang around with pianos too long.
