            It seems the closer I get to finishing the proposal, the more problems there are to fix. Once the advisor gives the green light though, yeah I'l circulate it among my committee and if there are no objections there I'll present it and see what sticks. Scary times. I wish this was Armenia so I could help my chances by buying some jewelry for my commitee members or their wives. Then, again bribes prob work here as well, just different types of bribes.
            I think the more time you spend on it, the more problems you find or more things you could do differently, etc. I'm sure it'll be approved. They already had a good idea what you were doing when they agreed to be on your committee right?

                Yeah, it's a perpetual process. Just a matter of choosing the threshold and sticking to it.
                Well, they have a very general idea, but nothing concrete. Half of the people on the committe are there purely for political reasons.

                      Karo, let me know if you need any help/suggestions with anything. And always remember: Work always expands to fill all allotted time. And this is ESPECIALLY true when writing technical papers, dissertations, proposals, prelims, and the like.
