Which reminds me, my Anthropology final is Monday and my professor gave us an offer:

1) Take the essay portion on the day of the final; no notes, no book. Only one question.

or

2) Take the essay portion today; open notes, open book. Two questions.

More than half the class took option two, as did I. Probably because I would be just as puzzled on the day of the final or at that moment. How would I know what to study? He never makes it clear. I had a bunch of help from my notes plus BlackBerry to the rescue.

Nice. Open BOOK? That is very generous. I actually have to flip through my book and jot down stuff I think will be useful. :\

Uh, none of the material discussed in the class came from the book so nobody used it. I didn't even have mine with me.

He even said himself, "I don't know what you could possibly find in the book considering I don't use it. This is just a test to see how well you guys take notes."
