Ok. Attention. I decided on mconeway.com. Now, I just want some help. Does anybody know people who are good with websites? Not just making good sites, but people who know what to use to buy it and everything. I have a bunch of questions and I need help. Please direct me towards someone who knows what to do. Thanks.

No. I have questions about it. Like, when godaddy.com and others say it's only 9 dollars a year - is that true or are there hidden fees? Some guy I know said it depends on the amount of space you want for it. Well, how would I know how much I need, you know?
I found out you need a host?? That's up to $150 a year for the amount of space I need to run my site. And some guy says he'll help me build the site for $5 a month, which I said no to, because that's way too much. I need someone to help me build it free, like a friend. And I need to figure a way out to get a cheaper host. Shiiiit, I didn't know that's how sites worked. I gotta pay to use the internet? It's not like the space on the internet is running out, lol.
How much space do you need? Try www.1and1.com ... I've been with them for a couple of years now and they've been good. I am not paying anything since at the time they were running a 3 year for free deal for 500 MB of space ... but I've registered a few domain names through them and run a few sites.
I need to promote my music now, and I really need an official site. Some guy I was talking to told me to get 2 GB's of space, which came out to $75 a year. $9 a year for the domain and $75 a year for the host. He said he would maintain it for a flat rate of $75. Lol. I don't know, I need someone to help me run it for free.
It's just like any other domain. .am just means you will need to host it in Armenia, which means that the pages will reside on a server in Armenia. Sometimes this might mean slower connections, but I'm sure you can find a hosting service in Armenia with broadband connections.
It is true that .am top level domains should be registered in Armenia; but it is not true that the associated physical IP address should be located in Armenia. In other words, it is possible to host an .am domain outside of Armenia.
Furthermore, once the association domain-name IP address is cached by the local ISP there will no need to constantly contact the DNS (Domain Name Server ) that would be located in Armenia: in other words, performance should not suffer.
What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.
