Today I woke up at 9:30 to go to my uncle's tire shop in Simi Valley to get my new rims. It took a while and I was on my way back to Glendale at 3:30. I had to go to work, so as I exited, I made a left onto Pacific. I was driving towards Glenoaks, as I noticed the traffic ahead of me. The Minivan in front of me was slowing down and I was pretty far away from it, so I just saw it, and started slowing down myself. As I was doing that, I saw a girl in a car to my left. I thought she looked familiar, so I looked back in front of me, and back at her. I really thought I knew her, so as I looked back in front of me, I noticed the Minivan had stopped and I was about 10 feet away. I immediately pumped the brakes and straight up hit her. I looked in my rearview and saw a compact car coming along at about 20 MPH, and he came and slammed into me, causing me to hit the Minivan again, and leaving me in the middle.
I just put my head down in disappointment, scared as hell. We were in front of Blockbuster on Pacific, so the Minivan pulled up into it, as did I and the car behind me. As we all pulled up, all three drivers, including myself, got out to check our cars. I have a German license plate on my car, and I noticed it wasn't there anymore, lol. The holder was in place, but no plate. I was shook up and shaking because of the hit, so I didn't even look for damages. The guy in the car behind me was pretty young, in his 20's. I asked him where it was and he said he'd look for it. I looked at the front and back of my car and NOTHING had happened. The Minivan's driver was a lady with four little girls in the backseat. Nothing happened to her car. The guy behind me had a cracked license plate but told me it was nothing and not to worry about it.
The guy also told me my license plate was somewhere in the middle of the street, so I ran out and picked it up. It was bent at the top and the paint had come off. I put it in my trunk and just called my mom. My mom told me my dad would drop by because he was on that street. The lady told me her husband was on his way. The guy told me no damages had been made, and he was in a hurry, so he wanted to leave. The lady was also in a hurry. I was fine with leaving. After the woman's husband came, he saw there was no damages, and asked for our phones numbers and names. He told us, just in case we notice anything, we'd call each other. Then we all left.
I just think it's weird how I got hit so bad and nothing happened. Anyway. I'm still kind of scared, but whatever. I gotta get a new plate but that's ok. It's also weird how stuff like this keeps happening to me. Third time with this car. Plus, I just got my rims. But thank God nothing happened to the people in the cars.
