I'm not around the LA area as often anymore, but when I am, it seems the city(glendale) vibe is a bit friendlier. People seem more social at cafes and shops, and not as much "dogging" seems to be going on. Anyone else feel this way?

Do you know the joke about the Armenians in hell? Basically there are all these big fire holes everywhere for each nationality with all these guards around them keeping the people in. Except the hole with the Armenians has no guards. Everytime one of them tries to climb out, the others drag him back inOriginally posted by dddThere was definitely more hostility towards someone who, for example, drove a nice car
That is basically in our nature and I don't think it will ever change this easily. As far as the general attitudes though, I don't spend that much time in Glendale but one thing that is certainly happening more and more, is the rising tensions between Armenians and other nationalities. But as far as nice cars, now everyone and their mother is driving some high-end late-model European or Japanese car and if not that, then it's some Italian or German exotic.
