I know you love crypting sentences and you're good at them I might add, meaning they're cryptic but not too cryptic. But what in the name of sweet Mary and Joseph does the above mean?

that's what i'm trying to figure out. i have my theories. to be fair, this one is not my own encryption. i was actually listening to system of a down's "question" as i read the post and thought the response was fitting. what i posted is a spin off of some of their lyrics.

the mention of mary and joseph kind of solidifies one of my theories (berries=forbidden fruit, two=adam and eve; i also think berries=poison berries, something about suicide etc)

the song goes like this:

Oh yeah, that's right. I like that song actually but didn't place the lyrics. The refrain is about mortality and continuation of life after death and ghosts are waiting and are no different also eludes to life after death. He's asking "Are you waiting for the ghosts, when you die?". The thing about the berries is a confusing though. Your theory about the forbidden fruit fits, thus it says don't eat the forbidden fruit (don't sin) or else you won't get to see the ghosts that are waiting for you. I've noticed that SOAD songs are quite religious for a band with a satanist member (I read somewhere the Daron was).

see i dont see it as religious at all. although a religious fan could argue that the mention of ghosts signifies a belief in the afterlife. to be honest, i also see the berries as representative of drugs (shrooms, etc) that make you hallucinate and see the ghosts and imagine your soul fly. haha

the song is called question. they want each person to come up with their own answer that fits their own beliefs. therefore the religious view implies an answer when it shouldnt

it asks the listeners whether they believe in afterlife, whether they themselves lean one way or another is debatable, but I thought it was a about questions on mortality.
