A lot of people I know were close with Proof, and they're the ones who told me about his death. Not only did I look up to Proof for his music, but I've also heard a lot of great things about him. We met in July of 2003, I think it was. Awesome man. It's sad to lose someone this great. It's a hard time for a lot of people. People like me.

Sometimes it's funny to joke around. But sometimes, you've got to have some deceny in you, and when someone passes away, ANYONE, you should pay your respects. If not, don't say anything at all.

A couple months ago I had a chance to go see Proof with Eminem in New York now I regret I didn't go. I think that Proof was a great rapper and it's a shame to lose someone with his talent.
