This thread is going to be about my upcoming album, so if you're not interested, please leave.
Ok. I was planning on naming my first album "One Man Show". I'm still working on it, and no material has been recorded yet. The title "One Man Show", basically means I'm alone with my music, and I'm trying to do everything myself. It fits the theme well, but then again, it's too broad.
I also had an idea for a second album a few months ago. I'm sure a lot of you are familiar with the 11:11 phenomenon. I'm fascinated with it, because 90% of the time when I look at a clock, it reads 11:11, 1:11, 12:12, 2:22, etc. I've read a lot about it, and it's very interesting to me. I wanted to name my second album 11:11, and make it a double album. Each CD would have 11 tracks. So, two CD's, with 11 tracks each. 11, 11. Get it? The first CD would be personal, emotional, and slow tracks. And the second CD would be more upbeat and party tracks. I wanted to keep this idea for my second album, because no one ever does a double album as a first album.
Now. I was thinking. Since I'm not totally in love with "One Man Show" as a title, and I'm fascinated with "11:11" - should I just go ahead and make the first album "11:11"? Only thing is, I wouldn't want my first album to be a double album. But then again, it'll also be very original, and catch peoples attentions. The songs I have prepared for my album fit the theme perfect.
What do you guys think? Is it strange seeing a double album for the first album? Does it matter to you, as a listener?
