Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Re: To Iraq and Back

How did the Armenian Iraqis greet you? No, not the soldiers. The ones who were living there before the war.

        Re: To Iraq and Back

One of my best friends just 2 months ago joined the Marines...I was in shock when he told me...but...whatever the reason, whatever the war cause, i'm gonna support him, because his my friend, and i am gonna support You and all other our own who are on duty.

Armenian, you have very good points there, i agree, anyone with Half brain will tell you that this war, this war on terrorism is total bs joke...(if you think otherwise, i am sorry but you gotta be xxxxing brain dead) just like war on drugs...they bring the drug, then they fight against it...AFTER 9/11 the country was on HIGH alert!!!...and 6,000 MILES of border were left OPEN...so basically yet still anyone could easily get in and out of the country....and 5 years later....its still OPEN...now they are after Immigrants...the xxxxers forgot that once they or their parent sor their grand parents were immigrants to this country...

If tomorrow some army rolls in to my town with tanks and starts bombing...every MAN will get out there and do everything possible to stop them, to hurt them back...what is the difference between suicide bomber and bomber pilot?

9/11 happened, and its still 50/50 who really orchestrated it, we invade Afghanistan, to get the infamous al-CIA-da leader. after little while they figure “oh we cannot win a war in Afghanistan, remember Russians where here for 10 years and they never got the upper hand…, so lets think of something new” then Iraq….WMD…dictator…we gave the same dictator WMD to fight Iran, so he should still have them, lets go get him…+ Oil…Now we are looking at Iran, because Iran said they will wipe out Israel (truly speaking, isn’t that what the whole world wants?). they come they steal land, make their country and now killing the natives…(reminds me of how America started..) Israel fires missiles, the missiles go off course hitting a school, killing children…and they say it’s a mistake and get over it, but one suicide bomber and the whole world knows about it instantly and they view it in bad way… I still don’t know if America kisses Israelis ass or vice versa? They need to free Palestine…

The thing is…in Iraq the insurgents are not united…its like different group of fighters…if they unite…they will smoke us…and did you know that there are many mercenaries in Iraq…kill people get money…dream job for hick

As Nemesis said...if US invaded Armenia (thank xxxxing god we don't have oil) would you still go?

I would definatly go...i would be a bomber pilot, i would take off for a mission and circle around and come back and bomb our own xxxx lol

Anyways, i am glad you made it back safely...how long is your contract for? my friends contract is for 8 years...ouch

Hey genius, last I checked the kill death ratio was something like 20:1 in favour of Coalition forces.

Oh really? Have you seen pictures and videos of these guys? They could be as united as US forces, it still won't change the fact that 7/10 of them will still run out from a corner, stand in the middle of the road, spray from the hip and run back.

Your avatar is entirely fitting and so is your username (I don't care who used it in what war during the early 90s). No uniform, no honour, nothing. Dirt. Good thing the Air Force requires a decent IQ.

And for the record, it is entirely possible and in no way a contradiction to disagree with the war itself yet have some form of support for the forces fighting it.

Armenianboy, first I would like to apologize to you personally, I think I got carried away a bit last night. Nothing personal against you, its just that I am disgusted and sick at the way in which the American military has been used since the fall of the Soviet Union. Obviously, I wish you no harm and I am glad you are doing well, but please-please don't use American neo-con propaganda here, we are not bible-belt morons.

I also did misread you previous comment, I thought you were talking about American forces "fighting damn good." Nonetheless, I was under the impression that Armenian contingent there were not combat troops. I still think they are not combat personell, perhaps you assumed that they were combat troops.

You are probably playing Nintendo when you wrote this right? We'll discuss military history when you grow some hair on your gntaks. If you think the "coalition" is winning that war in Iraq, or will ever win it, you need to go get an MRI done on your head, obviously large parts of it are not working properly.

Oh really? Have you seen pictures and videos of these guys? They could be as united as US forces, it still won't change the fact that 7/10 of them will still run out from a corner, stand in the middle of the road, spray from the hip and run back
                .

It still doesnt change the fact that Americans will be running out of there in shame when the time comes. The American military is fullof sound and fury signifying nothing. The massive "high tech" American military has only proven it can beat tiny nations with primitive armies. I would love to have seen the American war machine go into Serbia in 1999. They would have been massacred en-mass. Perhaps that is why Washington did its best not to go in on land, choozing to bomb the great Orthodox, pro-Armenian, anti-Turkish nation of Serbia instead - non-stop for over a month.

Yeah, what a great military we have.

                Idiots.

What a stupid senselss comment. Hey, I got an idea. Why don't you go back and watch some more cartoons, mayboe some Rambo and Chuck Norris movies, get really gung-ho, then go and join the military and ask to be sent over to the Anbar region in Iraq. I am sure politicians in Washington DC and Tel Aviv and "dirty" rag-heads in Iraq are praying for your manifestation

                  Yeah, OK, buckwheat.

                  Lets see:

Its OK to disagree with the Turkish genocidal agenda against the Armenians but we must support the average Turkish troop.

Its OK to disagree with Hitler but we must support the average Nazi soldier.

Its OK to disagree with Israel but we must support the average occupation troop in Palestine.

Its OK to disagree with the Taliban but we must support the average Taliban warrior.

You folks are really weird. I would call you other things but I can't.

                    Re: To Iraq and Back

I'm glad you made it back safely ArmenianKid.

We are not going to have this discussion because it doesn't seem to be possible to do so without attacking one another and calling each other names. For those of you who are newer, be warned that this isn't acceptable and in the future you will be suspended if you continue this (provoked or not) and if you have been warned and suspended for exactly this before, get your temper under control please because the next time you're banned it will most definitely be permanent!

I don't see why you can't express your opinions without being so awful to one another. Once you type your post, read over it once and make some changes before you submit. You can disagree with someone without attacking and insulting them. What you say will not only be more likely to be read and considered, but then the discussion can continue.
