Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Shooting at Dawson College in Montreal (Canada)

There was a shooting at Dawson College today. The suspect shot a few students at the entrance and then went inside on a shooting rampage. Witnesses believed there was more than one suspect, but media is saying there was only one suspect. The gunman killed one student and wounded around 20 other students. Theres 6-8 students who are in critical condition.
The suspect was shot in the leg by a cop and then he turned the gun to himself and shot himself.Theres still many versions of the story going on.The cops are working on the scene so some stuff i said might be wrong or they might change.
R.I.P to that innocent girl who lost her life today!Concordia University was really helpfull, they took more than 500 students from Dawson college, giving them food and counselling. So many students are traumatized by this whole event and are scared to go back to school.
Anyways here is a link to the story: http://www.cbc.ca/story/canada/natio...ts-dawson.html

It's fair to say that at no point in history has Canada gotten more press coverage.

A nation joins friends and family in mourning the loss of Dawson College student Anastasia DeSousa, who died tragically in Montreal on September 13, 2006. She was 18.

I give all my sympathy to her family. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
The suspect was a member on a site called vampirefreaks.com and the basterd wrote a message 2 hours before he went on the shooting rampage.he basically hated the world, all teachers, normal people...he took some quizes online and the outcomes show hes suicidal,a murderer and a serial killer.here is a pic of him.

here is the site,if u guys wanna read all his messages!!!!

Wow it did not take long for people to be all over vampirefreaks.
I bet it was the music he listened to and the trenchcoat he wore that made him do it. Solved. Next!

there was much more to it then just the music he listened and the style he had.some ppl who graduated with him from high school were interviewd and they all said he signed in their year book calling himself terrorist Gill.some of his friends said he had stopped talking to them,he was always home playing killing video games and he told one of them how he loves his gun.on one of the pictures it says "Ready for action"..so this guy was not someone normal.Society plays a big role in how ppl behave. The way society treats some people who are different than the rest of the people, and the way people feel when they are not part of the "cool" people drives people to the point of insane acts.Things such as bullies, ppl shouldnt classify others as psychos, loners, loosers, because what happened 2 days ago was a result of everyones combined cruelty towards this guy.Its just sad to say kids were hurt, one of them died and a couple of them fighting for their life...

so it is society's fault that this guy decided to go and shoot people?!
a lot of kids take abuse in school, very few of them go and start killing helpless girls. what would you want normal kids to do with someone like this anyway, he is the one that has isolated himself from society because he is a weak minded individual and would rather sit in his room by himself then try to maintain or create normal human bonds and interactions. we werent meant to sit in a dark room drinking and playing video games by ourselves and all the while letting those thoughts of hate for people we dont like fester. screw this kid, and where the hell were his parents?
