the actor is Armenian. in the movie he is supposed to be kazakh. but noone on earth can tell Armenian apart from a made up language so they said what the heck let the guy speak what hes comfortable speaking on camera and this is the result..

Ken Davitian (Armenian) = Azamat, Borat's friend.

Borat tours USA with a friend, Ken Davitian, who plays Azamat. Borat speaks "Kazakh" with him, and Ken replies back with nothing but Armenian. The whole movie, Borat talks in his fake language, and Ken replies in Armenian.
