It does make sense AND, a German woman once told me that it is bad luck to wish somebody a happy birthday before their birthday, SO, me not wishing you a happy birthday right now, is not me being a xxxxx, it's me trying to make sure I don't jinx you or anything...not that I'm superstitious.
