Oh i would love to be a Drug abuse counselor, but after some research there is not much money in the field. Not saying i'm money hungry, but i dont want to struggle later on in life. For now, i'll just start the path to become a RN.

Nursing is a calling, it's not something everyone is capable of doing well. It's certainly not easy either.

We need more good RNs. I couldn't believe the difference in the care I received and the care my aunt got in a different hospital (where she works even!) just 15 miles away 2 weeks later.

I suggest going to a good hospital, with good (and well paid) nurses and finding out which RN programs they recommend and like to hire from. Then, I would apply to those schools.

I'm working on a survey for work (can't get into details), but I'm finding nurses about equivalent time out of school with about a $6 difference in hourly salary depending on the hospital.

The old ladies too? I never seen such nurses as you describe, every time I have gone to medical centre in yerevan, there's just been old ladies handling me, maybe there's a medical centre I don't know about?
