Aww thanks, Gorsy. I felt it just in time. If I had gone on, I probably wouldn't be writing this. They towed the car to my house...the guy said that my brakes were completely gone. I was pissed off at the time, but DAMN, I got lucky.

I believe it can help recognising that there are some things in life you can affect and others which are just luck of the draw.

Much of being human is about making mistakes, it is inherently part of what we are..

I don't think your especially stupid.. I expect your just having a run of bad luck.. keep plugging away and chances are you'll have a run of good luck also.

Looking back you'll probably also understand the causes better, and how many of the problems might have been unavoidable.

"If it breaks, you can always fix it."

...meaning...

xxxx happens...that's how life is, but there is virtually nothing in this life (except death, of course, or the punishment of death for prisoners, or premature death, blah blah blah, you get the point), that can't be fixed after it happens. So I believe that, if you screw up, you can always make it better somehow. That's how I live from day to day - with that thought.

In this case, you're not really screwing up, but obstacles/mistakes...same nature.

thanks clubber, but i don't know. all i have to say is thank goodness im an excellent swimmer or else i would have drowned by now. I guess im just treading water for the time being. but this is getting ridiculous its like one thing after another so ive ended up w/ a pile of problems w/ no solutions..... uuggh
