Anon, it was sick. Just chill, bunch of guys and girls, had about 30 peopl over. Couldnt get music though, my neighbors are crazy.

How was the Sanitarium? My buddies went there, and then they came over my place. THey said it was sick.

All the opening bands such as Deftones, Mudvayne, Linkin Park, Limpdizkit wasn't the reason I went there.

I know Metallica...I actually like their Black album too...
but they yell too much...and St. Anger sux...
and speaking of the "gay" Ma....for the first time this year, Hollywood Bowl was SOLD OUT... there were over 18,000 people, SEATED if you will...
but what am I doing...
trying to convince a hardcore metallica fan that the combination of cello, spanish guitars, brazilian drums and clarinet sounded like heaven...

St. Anger is not a bad song, the problem you haven't even paid attention to the lyrics.

Granted it's not as heavy as their earlier stuff when they were younger, but they are old already and the older they played were as heavy as before.

I'm sorry if I wanted to here some nice exotic sounds I would just hit my belly and itll be as good as the Ma sounds.

I don't know what sort of new age hippie stuff you're into but Metallica has been around for a long time and even played with a symphony.

I mean these guys are not only lyrically superior to alot of bands that have come and gone, but also with their style.
