Actually Alevism is more a way of life than religion , just like Buddhism..

Actually Mukuch was talking about Zoroastrianism not Alevism.

But Zoroastrianism can also be defined as a philosophy of life. It is not like a typicall Abrahamic religion that some people may think. The Gathas that were composed by Zarathustra himself are the best examples. On the other hand, Avesta that was written after Zarathustra by Zoroastrian priests in Iranian plateau and Mesopotamia is more similar to a religion.

I find it amazing how similar Alevism and Zoroastrianism are if we take out all that Islamic stuff. I find out everyday more about similarities between the two religions.

That's ok everyone can make mistakes. In a pool of almost 70 million Turks and Kurds it is difficult for us Zazas to tell people the truth.

There are even some Zaza that got assimilated and call themselves Turks and Kurds. If you ask them about Zazas and Zazaish language they mostly know nothing but they sure know everything about cell phones, cars, hip hop and newest ringtones for their cellphones.

Well it seems at least they know more than most of turks

Yes I heard of that too...sorry I meant no offence by calling you Kurd, it is just the clishe accepted in turkey. I also not fond of Kurds myself...

That is what Kurds like to hear. Zazas are Iranic but not Kurdish. We have a different language and different history. They want people to know that Dersim is a Kurdish city since that would mean Kurds of Dersim helped Armenians during Armenian genocide instead of Zazas of Dersim.

It is like Dutch and German. Both look similar, speak a similar language and love to drink beer.

Yes symbol of Dashnaks. Although he is Persian. That is probably because there are a lot of Armenians living in Esfahan together with Zoroastrian Persians.

Yes symbol of Dashnaks. Although he is Persian. That is probably because there are a lot of Armenians living in Esfahan together with Zoroastrian Persians.
