Re: Wowie
I think you're the cutest thing ever! I really enjoyed reading your response :>
You wouldn't believe how many hours the average Los Angeleno wastes while driving to work, school and other destinations. I can honestly say I'm on the road for at least an hour to two hours everyday. Sometimes I wish the time could be spent doing more productive things, but i fear it would distract me from the road.
I'm glad you enjoy the process of walking long distances as well. There is something incredibly peaceful and meditative about walking at nights when the city is quiet and everyone is tucked away in their homes...all except for you and the occasional person you stumble across.
Walking long distances gives you time to quietly contemplate your day, life and any other such matters. I cannot tell you how many epiphanies I have gotten while doing so throughout the years. There are times where i feel i cannot remain sane without this activity in my day.
Sometimes i prefer to walk in silence and feel the breeze against my face, hear the rustle of leaves from trees. Other days, I like to let the music I'm listening to consume my being. Both my dear, are equally wonderful.
