The problem with trying to use online translators is that the computer doesn't really have a working knowledge of any given language (I find errors in Spanish translators frequently). Your best bet is to work out various words on your own and do the work. Then I suggest posting it here so we can help piece the story back together.

Ne vous contentez pas blâmer le traducteur automatique, blâmer l'auteur du texte à traduire. Un texte soigneusement écrit devrait se traduire par une précision suffisante pour être comprise. Ce texte doit être concis, de faire le point, pas trop verbeuse ou prétentieux, avec des phrases courtes (décomposés en plus petites sections par des virgules si nécessaire), en utilisant des mots qui ne veut pas dire plusieurs choses ou ont une signification obscure, et sans orthographe ou des erreurs de grammaire

Still reasonably legible.

Though Google's French - English translator seems to be the most developed one of them all, and often has multiple translation choices if the first meaning doesn't seem correct (this might be a new feature, I hadn't noticed it before). The Armenian one is still in the alpha phase of development.

Don't just blame the machine translator, blame the writer of the text being translated. A carefully-written text should translate accurately enough to be understood. That text needs to be concise, to the point, not overly wordy or pretentious, with short sentences (broken down into smaller sections with commas if necessary), using words that don't mean several things or have obscure meanings, and without any spelling or grammer errors.

Honestly, i'm really disappointed with the Google translator. It has a very hard time with sentences and often just translates things too literally (like most translators). The one I linked has been the best i've seen of all the crap out there. It's the least worst

Can you also recommend me a translator for Russian? Since I saw several books are only available in that language...

No it isn't. It is useless compared to http://translate.google.com/?hl=en&sl=fr&tl=en#hy|en| - not that it is anything wonderful either. And if the text to be translated is badly written, or in anything other than modern Armenian, then things get worse.

Indeed. Besides, there's no Armenian-to-Italian translation (I'm still using Italian on my laptop even if I have no problems reading English).

Anyway, I tried the one recommended by Federate, and it's only working with single phrases. I wanted it to translate a short story (by Raffi, I guess) and all I've got is:

well, it's only in Eastern Armenian and won't translate full pages. Further, it's usually getting corrected a lot rather than being helpful. Most translations through that wind up leaving words in instead of translating
