Excellent! I think the non-r-rolling Armenians are secretly jealous.

      Re: Hello

It always sounds to me at first that Parskahye's dialect is like armenian with a very big american accent.

I don't know about that. We just sing (must be the Persian influence?) which I happen to like.

Yeteh guzes ne, arevmedahayeren al g'rnam khosil.
Wow, that sentence was woefully lacking in gorality (gorutyun).

That and your 'a' is pronounced rather strangely.

              Re: Hello

Yeah! It's the Persian influence, the slow and "singing" tone. I don't think i speak like that though, I've noticed it more in new comers from Iran to America.

Mos is right, Barskahye 'a' seems to be pronounced differently than Hayastan-EA and WA. I'm trying to think of a way to explain it but i'm having difficulty . The 'a' Barskahyes often pronounce is like the 'a' in fart (yes I know, weird choice LOL).

exactly, I can't point to a certain word, but I just feel it when I listen to them speak. I have listened also rather often Persians speak, and I can clearly see the influences. However, I must say, from all the languages I have heard, Farsi sounds most similar to Armenian. I was once playing chess with some Iranians who were speaking Farsi, and it always seemed to me like there were speaking something a shade away from Armenian. Their speaking just sounded familiar, but yet unknown at the same time.
