Wouldn't be surprised if Turks committed such an act. It's part of their Mongoloid nature.

Thanks, Alexandros. I am really sad about the economic crisis in Greece. I hope it won't be too many years before Greece fully recovers.

That fascist party has got a lot of militants, I think. But, let's hope the Greek anarchists and communists (I know that these two groups are strong in Greece) will give them hell in the streets

Do you like football ? Do you plan to go to Euro 2012 matches ? You know, in Euro 2004, I was really happy that Greece won it.

My grandfather was a commie and fought in the Greek civil war against the right. But I have never really sympathized with communism or for that matter the anarchists. Communism may be good as an idea, but in practice it doesn`t really work. On the hand hand, capitalism is far from perfect, we can see how the states bails out the banks; I mean what kind of capitalism is that? First the bankers takes enormous risks and then if things goes wrong, the tax payers will have to pay for their wrongdoings. This is so wrong.

As for the anarchists, why can`t they demonstrate peacefully? Why do they have to burn cars, shops and destroy other peoples' property? I have never really understood that.

Speaking of soccer, I`m a soccermaniac! I would love to go to Euro 2012. But personally, I think watching the matches on TV is so much more comfortable and safer I think.

Which team do you support in Turkey?

While I m waiting for a reply I've been re-reading your(Cem) post.
You say : some people in this forum have (generalized) and said bad things about turks.
The next paragraph you state that you talk on Turkish forums against nationalism and (always) receive bad words,insults and threats.Are you generalizing when you made that last comment?
A person does not have to generalize when the speak bady about the actions of Turkish (society).
It is not a coincidence that ou always get threats etc. from your -- compatriots --- .
You tell me if I am mistaken Cem.
F an honest man or woman walked down any street in what is called turky and in a clear but non intimidating voice expressed their grief , heartbreak, and utter horror of the genocide what do you think would insue?
One does not have to generalize to say bad things about those Turks to know bad things would happen to that person who spoke the truth� or d you think speaking the truth on any street in what is called turky
about the GENOCIDE would merely cause an intellectual conversation?

Dear Artashes,

I am someone who feels very bad and also angry about what happened to Armenians in 1915 (and also before 1915; as you possibly know, massacres happened between around 1890 and 1915 too). So I am someone who sympathises fully with you. I will later tell you more about how I became more and more sensitive on this issue; this is the introductory section of the forum so I don't want to get too much into such stuff here in this section.

Sorry for the late reply to this, dear Artashes. As you know, there are always so many things to do and read on the Internet. I write in various forums and also like to read a lot of articles and also write lots of e-mail. I can barely keep up And, I am a TV addict so I spend a lot of time watching stuff on TV too

I am an Istanbul guy. I was born and grew up here and spent most of my life here but my mother and my father are not really from Istanbul. Both of them came to Istanbul in their twenties. I hope this answers your question.

OVERALL, you have valid points in this post. As I wrote above, this is an introductory section and I prefer discussing these in the suitable section (or maybe we can discuss via private messaging or e-mail). You can trust me that I won't run away from this forum; even if some people write nasty things to me (it has happened to me before in various forums; people of various nationalities wrote insults to me mainly because I am internationalist and dislike nationalism of all kinds). As you know, being anti-nationalist is not easy in this world
