I am Brer Rabbit. I am 55 and I live in Ohio. I am a professional Storyteller and one contribution I have made to my Armenian heritage is to educate and inform people of the Turkish Armenian Genocide. When I read John Douglas's book "The Armenians", I came across a passage that recounted Armenian children having a hand or foot cut off by the Turkish miltias then being set on by attack dogs. This rather startled me because as a child my oldest sister used to frighten us with just this story! It has become my personal endeavor to teach people about this terrible genocide, one we should never let be forgotten.
