Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I don't think "he" is a Shahist. Not only he is an anti-regime but clearly he has an anti-Iran agenda. Through his platitudes, Persian-non Persian talk, ethnic "differences" you can see "his" encouragement for disintegration of Iran. So "he" sounds more like a pan-Turkic spamming robot… It has been banned from Iranian sites.

Iranians always use their own pictures of Azeri Turks and say these are Persians.

Iranians also always use the pictures of Persians and say these are Azeris. A good example is Farah Diba who is Persian and Ahmadinejad who is Azeri Turks.

Gogoosh the Persian singer is not Azeri either. She only knows how to speak Azeri language. She is ethnically Persians. Her picture is always used as an "Azeri" example.
Look, this is an Armenian forum and the internal issues of Iran are of no interest to people here, whether Iranians are brunet, blond or black does not interest them either, by what or who Tehran has been populated is irrelevant too. So, please get lost. (What you've been forced to do in Persian sites.)

I didn't know who Catherine Bell was so I looked her up on the internet. It appears that she half Iranian (mother's side) and half English (father's side). Anyway, it turns out that she is not the ideal example for an Iranian women and other than her big boobs and cute face, she's nothing spacial. In my opinion, you are being way too tolerant of the pure and unadulterated BS being spread by this obsessed Assloaner character. Everything he/she posts on the web regarding Persians and Azeris is either a complete lie or a half truth. The only question is - who/what is this character Assloaner and what is his/her true intentions. Some say he/she is part of some organized anti-Iranian agenda on the web. Personally, I don't think that is the case because the information he/she publishes is mostly pure nonsense and the reactions he/she expresses when challenged is very childish - for instance, the reaction we saw from him/her concerning the hooked nosed Parthians depicted on the ancient coins. So, I think what we are dealing with here is a deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeply troubled individual with a veeeeeeeeeeery serious obsession. Believe me, I can tell this kind from a mile away because I have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with several such characters.

why should he be? He's right about one thing, that is about his right to try to build his case here. And we have our right to shoot it down.

Oslonor, how could you not be familiar with Hellenic cultural influence in the region in question? Jeez, do you really have to see everything along genetic lines? Where are you coming from to assume all this Greek influence is news? The much celebrated expanse of the Hellenic world under Alexander the Great and the generals who carved up his empire upon his death is news to no one. I'd be quite shocked if you were an exception, forget Armenians, it would be a tremendous blow to your abilities to convince anyone with a half decent knowledge of history about your case.

And Oslonor, I'm sorry but I don't care if you can find a few dozen Persians who look like Germans, you can't convince me that this is their general character, not even because you can't prove that they look like Germans, but because GERMANS HAVE A LOT OF DINARICS TOO and you are ready to deny the fact that dinaricism occurs all around Eurasia.

Poor you... classifying everything you don't want to be associated with as J-ewish, and telling us that we probably aren't Armenians... For you, anyone who agrees with you is an Armenian , and anyone who disagrees is an Azeri or xxx.

I'm curious, is your total audience 10 people? 100? people?
