My statment was was about life and not about a particular form of life. Different forms of life would/could exist in different energetic conditions.

Originally posted by KanadaHye View PostAs far as the planet WE live on, it's a FACT. If not the sun, there has to be another form of energy.
Try growing a plant without light or water... doesn't work too well.

By the way, it's NOT a fact even on planet earth, whether you like it or not your statement is a theory because life on our planet is may be more diverse than you'd think. I've already gave an example.Last edited by VartanK; 04-24-2009, 10:47 AM.

Your statement that life wouldn't exist without the sun is also a theoryLast edited by KanadaHye; 04-24-2009, 10:24 AM.

There's a chance, they note, that the organisms could have drifted into the collection area from elsewhere, where sunlight could have supported them."

Yeah... so much for that theory.

Originally posted by VartanK View PostFirst of all, yes it would exist. Start with this http://pubs.acs.org/cen/news/83/i26/8326notw3.html and if you want to know more then google.
Second of all, it does not answer my question.

Question From "Traditional man and country"
The goal of this thread is not to discuss evolution, I just had a simple question but Anonymouse thought that it was "off-topic" based on some obscure "unwritten, unconsciuous rule" and was asked to create a new thread.
It seems weird to start a new thread just to ask a question, but....
Originally posted by AnonymouseThis presumes that a concept called evolution is actually real and has in fact occurred, occurs and will continue to occur.

Would you care to tell us why the principles of Molecular Biology are wrong?Last edited by VartanK; 04-24-2009, 09:13 AM.Tags: None
