    The notes are saying to thou, that it was originately written in czech. I think he still lives in France, the book has been traduced then the translation was reviewed twice.

    I've read all the books by Michael Connelly, I own 95% of them. Clive Cussler and Robert Crais are also a long time favorite. From the library I usually check out James Patterson, James Lee Burke and whatever catches my eye. Right now I am finishing up Jolie Blons Bounce by Burke.

    Kundera is not originated from France but from Tchek Republic. This book was originately written in Tchek. So you're freed of French, but tchek is said to be much more complicated.
