The more you get involved in politics the more you realize at how corrupt the political system at the top echelons get, that if you are literally refusing to side with any of the special interests or powers that be that operate the system from behind the curtains, the different allegiances that are in work in the top of the Nation-State, and to the allegiances of foreign superior powers such as the U.S. ( the whole coup de'at in Armenia which ushered in Kocharyan was done by the U.S. ), the more you will realize it is a hopeless vision that such changes will be brought.
OK, I hate it when people assume that I am some naive kid that has no idea about what's going on, and that doesn't know that the upper echelons of the political system is very corrupt. You just have no idea about how ready I am to get involved in all of that xxxx in order to bring whatever change I can bring.

I am faaaaar from being the kid who thinks he'll be going there and will be hailed as a hero and all the corrupt men will give their money back to the people because I gave them a heartfelt speech. I'm ready to go to ANY distance to make our country a better place. Heck, I don't even need to be in government. Things can be done, and you can speak all you want about it not making a difference in the grand scheme of things where we are just a puppet of the nation-state conspiracy that is orchestrated by the communist jews; any step that makes a citizen's life easier DOES make a difference.

I would love to buy back my house in Armenia and one day when I'm financially stable on my own, I definitely will.

My grandfather is a chemist in Yerevan and told me that if I ever wanted to do research there or attend a university, he'd help me out. It's nice to have options.

You have a gross misconception of what nationalism is, of what nation is, and what a nation-state is, "nation" being wholly derived from Latin, natio meaning "birth" or "people", nothing to do with any "State", which is an artificially constructed system.

Nations have existed in that they have been defined cultural and linguistic groups. Nationalism is something that was created in Europe from the French Revolution, along with the rise of Nation-States. By contrast, Nation-States are not the people or the nation, they are just a political creation from Europe. A Nation-State is the government, and Nationalism is what feeds it.

I'd be more along the lines of a patriot ( of Greek origin patriota meaning "fellow countrymen" or "lineage member" ) or culturally aware, for the people, than I will ever be for the government, since, if you have learned anything from my posts, governments do more harm than good for their own people as well as others. To understand my position you'd have to look in the root of the words in Greek and Latin, because in the English sense they have been perverted.

Before you start making unsubstantiated assumptions, you should at least educate yourself on the matter before trying to question me on my convictions. Blind nationalism and support of the State, makes us impervious to its faults and potential damages it does. It works against human reason and our ability to question and critique that State, because it means you must have blind loyalty to the State.

My love is with the Armenian culture, and people and history and that region, which is Armenia, which again, historically has changed. My love is not for the Nation-State, which was created in Europe in the Enlightenment, and as a result of imperialism and colonialism has been forcefully spread around the world and sometimes out of simply no other choice than survival to compete with the other Nation-States.

anyway ive come to one conclusion from this. i shouldnt be fighting with you. no matter how much you exasparate me you are Armenian and there is no point to us fighting. more use in cooperating. By fighting with each other we are just contributing to our enemies' cause. no matter how insignificant it is i think it is something that has plagued us Armenians for quite some time. we have to learn to unite.
In order for anyone to unite, one must know what it is one is uniting about. And in order to know what it is, one must first conquer ignorance within themselves, before one is able to embrace another. Armenians are far too individualistic for them to unite out of their own volition, and this has always been so historically of the Armenians, for they have always been particularists. There is no way for Armenians to unite, unless there is some dictatorship along the lines of a dictator that can impose his will and conscience on the masses. Aside from that, the best we can do is help maintain the culture and language, because that is what keeps Armenians alive, not the State, or the politicians.

And I don't want to harp on your and Baron Dants' ambitions, but trying to bring change or become president within and through the system with your idealized goal of helping the people, is something you will never do, for obvious reasons. I think you're hatred of me results in that I destroy that idealization that is portrayed in your mind, with regard to being President and bringing serious change. Presidents are not elected, not in our world, they are chosen. And anyone who believes otherwise is engaging in wishful thinking. Democracy, as Hitler would agree, is a fallacy. All theoretical systems aside, it is either despotism, or anarchy. Take your pick.

    Some wisdom from Canned Heat:

Together we stand, divided we fall
Come on now people, let's get on the ball and work together
Come on, come on, let's work together
    Now now people
'Cause together we will stand ev'ry boy, ev'ry girl and a man

Before when things go wrong, as they sometimes will
And the road that you travel, it stays all up hill
    Let's work together
Come on, come on, let's work together
    Now now people
You know together we will stand, ev'ry boy, girl, woman and a man

Oh well now, two or three minutes, two or three hours
What does it matter now, if this time go round
    Let's work together
    Come on, come on
    Let's work together, now people
'Cause together we will stand, ev'ry boy, every woman and a man

Oh well, make someone happy, make someone smile
Let's all work together and make life worth while
    Let's work together
    Come on, come on
Let's work together, now now people
'Cause together we will we stand, ev'ry boy, girl, woman and a man

Because together we will stand, ev'ry boy, girl, woman and a man
Well together we will stand, ev'ry boy, girl, woman and a man
    Yeah...

    Let's work together
    Come on, come on
    Let's work together
    Come on, come on

    pssssht,
Ive already started building my house there, and in 5 years i will be living there with a degree from UK.

However, id never give up my British Passport, not unntil the services given to me of being of Armenian Nationality outweigh those of being British.

Anywho, id advice those wanting to live in Armenia to build your own, cheaper and perfect for your needs

I think for myself dont you worry, i am the last person in the world to follow anyone else, i will always strive to be the one that is followed, you on the contrary will always try to be an original but will do so simply by following, and being original for no other reason than to be original, you yourself dont understand half of what you copy and paste. Mixed arab ok, thanks for putting that one in, just illustrating what a lowlife fool you are. go smoke some weed so your life can be fulfilled and sit there reading and trying to glorify the empty words of some some fools that sat and philosophised all day and never bothered to put ideas into practice in the real world. you are the same thing, a fool who speaks empty words and doesnt know who he is, you crave attention, you need something to fill your life and you come here and make extravagant remarks. get a xxxxing life "captain Armenia". I just imagined what they would do to your aristocratic, upturned nose, xxxxxx ass if you went back to Armenia one day. Haha
For someone that is not supposed to be on the defensive you sure write alot to justify yourself. Anyway, you started hating me for no reason other than insecurity, since you are obviously perturbed by my presence and what I write. Thus, instead of just taking "Captain Armenia" for the fun of it and the example I used it in, you had to make a whole issue simply beacuse - well I don't know, because you're just threatened by me.

P.S. I'm not aristocratic, what evidence do you have for that?
