  • I made this one up. It is not that good but let us try it out.

    Its leaves appear when people run away. When people return, two cups and a string will replace it with gifts.

    • They are deteriorating in quality but here is another I made up. Anything to not work.

      Its arms cannot not embrace you but if you do not take it by the arm when it asks, it may hurt you.

        A peac0ck when she lays two eggs and sheds a stringy feather?

        I don't know dusk, but it sounds really bizarre.

        ===============================

        I have an easier one, this one I was able to solve within a reasonable time (it's a miracle!).

        Find a three-letter word such that:

        LEG has no common letter with it.
        ERG has one common letter but not at the correct place.
        SIR has one common letter at the correct place.
        SIG has one common letter, not at the correct place.
        AIM has one common letter, not at the correct place.

        ==================

        If you've solved it before, or researched it on the internet please don't post a solution until others do!

          • It was very poetic of you, but I am sorry to say that I still don't get it. What do the " two cups and a string will replace it with gifts" have to do with anything?

            And very funny about your answer. It was joke wasn't it? Because if by any chance it wasn't, it's a wrong answer.

              Actually Eve, I attempted to do the word brain teaser thingy too, but no luck. So I looked it up online, and it seems as though you got some of the letters mixed up. Can you double check, please? Because if the letters ARE indeed correct, then dusken's answer seems to be logical, although there's no such word (that I know of).

              • There is such a word. Otherwise I would not have written it.

                    I know that was not the word and there was an error in the puzzle. I just wanted to make sure that someone solves it themselves instead of looking it up on the net. SIG=SIC Glad you tried.

                    Dusken, what's the answer to the second riddle?
