Is banning gay's rights to marry wrong?

Comparing homosexuals to someones race is faulty logic on behalf of those that do. It's like comparing a pimple and a mole, pimples come out and go back in, moles are always there.

Homosexuality is a behavior. Race is biological. Although one has no control over being black or white, homosexuals have been known to go back and forth. How else do you explain those homosexuals who came out, and later in their lives went back to women? Or what about bisexuals? Legislating marriage based on behavior is bromide only modern society will accept as logical. But at the same time, I am not saying they cannot marry. I only said I disagree with their marriage, and that marriage must be privatized and localized, not a matter for the State, that way if a Church or a Temple wants to marry them, it is their concern.

I dont believe that homosexuality is a choice, so I guess this would be a pointless argument. I believe that everyone can enjoy sex with the same sex, and I dont believe that a person can fall in love with their sex. Its too tied to ones way of thinking. I have not performed any studies here, just casual observation.

I was thinkin about this today... We obviously have more homosexuality nowadays than lets say 50 years ago, or maybe they're actually "out" now but they weren't back then... either way, I think the media plays a big role in that, I mean, all of a sudden it's 'cool' to be gay! Lets face it, almost every real world episode has at least one gay (and cute ) person in it, two for this season, or take 'queer as folk' for example, all these hot, good looking guys falling in love, having sex, etc. It really not only says it's OK to be gay, but it says being gay is the new cool thing! I was stopped at the red light today, I look to my right, what do I see? I big poster of 'the L word', like 10 attractive girls all naked hugging each other, by the bus stop! I mean come on... I think such advertisements makes the straightest person curious. THIS is why we see so many open/proud homosexuals nowadays... Bottom line: the media encourages homosexuality.

That is very true. Look at TATU - they owe their international fame to homosexuality. It definitely makes sense that its much easier for them to come out now a days. There have been times and places where it was unheard of or dangerous. Now its almost admired.

It's not that they "come out". Homosexuals in this age of mass communication, popular culture, and 'alternative lifestyle' are produced.

If this country continues to import any more looney ideas from Europe it just might become Islamic like them because of their low birth rate. Maybe this country will become Mexican.

That sounds like the first thing they would make up to show that TATU lied, it even SOUNDS absurd. lol How likely is it for both of them to be pregnant? especially when they are so young and planning to going to school still.
