Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Siamanto! Failed attempts at wit, elitist to the highest degree, he studied in France, and one of his professors was Jean-François Lyotard so he must be an intellectual. Oh, but wait, it appears that mouse creature has gotten under his skin. No can do. I need to find another self-absorbed elitist who loves France but doesn't let mice make them so touchy.
One tiny problem: the tiny creature over inflated himself with so much hot air that he may soon explode.
Gossip lover, Lyotard is the best you had? LOL Please allow me to give you more gossip ammunition that you will probably use in the future; information that will probably reinforce your feeling that I'm a self absorbed egalitarian elitist with Socialist tendencies etc. etc. You can add to you list Deleuze, Foucault and Lacan. More later if you continue to entertain and amuse me.
Can't wait to see how our shoe salesman will react to the above.

Originally posted by AnonymouseI guess when Siamanto replies to axel, changing the name of the person who wrote the original post, from axel to Anonymouse, is one of the hallmarks of creativity taught to him under the post-modernist cirriculum in France. In his mind, it makes him appear witty and creative, since he can't really respond in substance, he figures he will just respond in some clever cute sort of way to deflect from his lack of content. Close but no cigar, you must try harder.
I sincerely apologize to axel. In fact, considering that his post was of a much higher quality than yours; attributing this post to you was injustice to him.
No, my intention was not to flatter you!
So, in your emotionally unsettled mind, did you actually think that it was intentional? You mental state is scaring me.Last edited by Siamanto; 11-10-2005, 06:13 PM.What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

In post #62, all occurrences of "Originally Posted by Anonymouse" should be replaced by "Originally Posted by axel."
I apologize for the confusion. Maybe, a moderator or an admin can correct post #62 and delete this one.
axel, I sincerely apologize for unitentionally "attributing" your post to Anonymouse.Last edited by Siamanto; 11-10-2005, 06:59 PM.What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

Originally posted by axelYou should have responded in french too but you saw the occasion of attacking me (knowing my message wouldn't be understood by others).
Originally posted by axelI never uttered the word "mature" btw.
"si de nous deux, il est une personne à qui l' expérience du terrain fait défaut, c'est bien toi. je ne tiens pas à le prouver ici, cela serait puéril."
using the words "experience" and "mature?"

Originally posted by SiamantoLOL I did not know that you had psychic powers! True, I leaned back; but, for a completely different reason. When I saw the fumes, I first thought that it was my laptop; fortunately, it was just the tiny mouse in fumes.
Like a teenager striving to assert his individuality and independence and to prove to the world that he exists, Siamanto felt it was absolutely necessary to waste a valuable post and bandwidth in a lame attempt by posting "LOL" and "" to make this rather infantile statement that I am a "gossip creature" whatever that means. But, I'll just give it a cute little "" like when a special ed student shows his crayon artwork to the teacher.
Originally posted by SiamantoIt seems that tiny creatures cannot handle an adrenaline rush without succumbing to hysteria or wild imagination. That was a "cut-and-paste" error that I will soon correct it. Thank you for mentioning it.

So what is the 'French' nation? Cathars? Aquitanians? Bretons? They didn't even all speak French until a couple hundred years ago, even if they were often ruled over by a French-speaking king. Actually, many of the people in Brittany, from what I know, still speak their Celtic Breton rather than French.
- Navarre and the Spanish "ingredient"
- Provence and the Greek/Roman ingredient. Marseille was founded by the Greeks. Of course, the Roman ingredient is not limited to Provence. There may have been some minor??? Armenian presence in the South.
- Normandy and the Normands i.e. "Nord Man" who were Vikings
- Germanic tribes like the Franks and the Vandals
- The Basque Country
- Corsica
- All the Poles, Russians, Italians etc. who migrated to France during the last two centuries
- ...
Yes, many still speak Breton. I had Breton friends who, though born in Paris, spoke some Breton.Last edited by Siamanto; 11-11-2005, 09:00 PM.What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

Originally posted by AnonymouseWhat I find amusing is how the Siamanto knows so much about Al Bundy. It was a good show indeed, wasn't it? Sure, it might not be the equivalent of sitting through a lecture by Lacan or Foucault, but it brings you down from the clouds where you can sort of see what the pesky inferiors on earth are doing. When you can make posts such as these, you don't really need me to post against you as you are doing such a fine job of being the good little self-absorbed elitist that you are. And it's important that you never forget to include the "". What I can or cannot do is nothing compared to how far and deep you have your head up your rear end. In fact, it's so deep you should get a glass belly so you could see the world outside.
Of course, if you liked it then it can't be otherwise. How can there be diversity? Why should there be diversity, gossip thirsty nose-it-all bigot.
Originally posted by AnonymouseThe only people that try really hard to conceal their bitterness and frustration over the internet are the same people that use "LOL" and cute little smilies like this . But then again, if you didn't, you wouldn't be you.

Of course, it can't be otherwise, Mr. Nauseatol bigot! Diversity is an idea that only exists in the mind of "teenagers."
LOL By the way, do your comments apply to your posts? I'm sure they don't!
This "teenager" has contemplated the unfortunate eventuality of "growing up" into the gossip thirsty, nose-it-all and Nauseatol bigot that you are; the idea of such an outlook is nauseating.
P.S. I had to delete some of the smilies, because the number of allowable smilies exceeded! *smiles*Last edited by Siamanto; 11-11-2005, 07:50 PM.What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

Just what in the hell are you talking about in that hodge podge of jibberish? Diversity? Gossip? If you pulled your head out of that gaping ass hole of yours from years of stuffing your head so far up into it, or if you took my advice and got a glass belly, maybe you would see if what you're typing actually makes sense. All you seem to be doing is waiting for my next post with wide eyed wonder and then trying to dismiss me, and imply how I'm not worth your time, or I'm ignorant, etc., yet all the while coming back. What an interesting little urchind, supposedly the product of the French heavyweights like Lacan, Lyotard and Foucault. The elitist French education has most certainly imbued the best qualities of self-absorption on to you.

I'm sorry but you are out of time. It's been an interesting game, but sadly a one sided affair it has been. You lost Mr. "I-am-product-of-French-education". It was more like you didn't show up, and nothing to show even if you appeared. It's amazing though I must admit! You started out rather simply, with "gossip creature". But here you clearly surpassed yourself with the Siamanto catch phrases such as "Nauseatol bigot" and "nose-it-all". Unfortunately for you, if you take away all your special effects of smilies and cute catch phrases there's nothing much else beneath.Achkerov kute.
