- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The Palestinian ambassador to the United Kingdom is an Armenian Christian. Maybe next they should make him ambassador to Turkey.

(I think, It is still stupid act. That is against the biggest rule of international politics. Follow your own benefit.)

Anyway, I am curious what would be happen at next AG vote at USA. You should be happy about improvements.

Zero. If you're talking about the 40 peacekeepers made up of doctors, technicians, engineers and truck drivers, they left a month ago.

You didn't understand what I'm saying...

Let me give you another example and you might understand with that example.
Syria has stopped its negotiations with Israel because of the war. Some political analysts are saying that's only acting. There are still under table negotiations taking place between those two countries.

So whatever is announced above the table won't change any relation since there could be deals under the table.

The "coalition of the willing"? I suspect you're trying to find some way to make it seem like Armenia aided the Iraqi occupation, if you are then you have a long way to go. Armenia sent its 40 peacekeepers made up of non-combat troops after "major operations concluded". And the only realpolitik reasons they sent is because Georgia and Azerbaijan both sent combat troops and we do not want to remain behind in American relations for Caucasian countries. Then there is the fact that there was Armenian community in Iraq and finally, for experience.

Turkey does not only have good relations with the Israelis. They need to suck up to other countries as well. Israel already knows Turkey supports it in reality so Turkey, a Muslim country led by AK party, needs to show some Muslim solidarity with Palestine too once in awhile, when war crimes become very obvious like it has become in Gaza. The Arab leadership have sold out Palestinians since a few decades now yes but this knowledge is realpolitik and not the surface where there are people who really believe that Muslims care about the Palestinians.

As a member of OIC, for example, it has to play its role in that as well. Give it a few weeks, everything will return back to normal and Turkish-Israeli relations are not an exception.

so Armenian followed real politics. Lets Turkish goverment follow real politics too.(And morons are not following it.)

Yes. After all, we should suck up saudi arabia, egypt or other minor arabic countries. After all, we are weak. arent we.. Sorry, There is not still a sensible reason for Turkish actions.(Because, Erdogan is now following his damn mind but following his rotten heart.)

More than arabs or every muslim nation at world? what is so special about Turkey? why should we support Hamas more than everyone or should fight against israel.(Even when She is our ally and a beneficial one.)

So what should we do? Destroy our relation with israel without good reason?

That is not how Turkey's realpolitik works. First, as a Muslim nation you have a forced duty to seek solidarity with other Muslim nations even though both of you know that you do not like or need each other. It's not secret the majority of Turks despise America and Israel, once in awhile government will need to shut them up. Second, as a nation seeking EU, Turkey is trying to prove itself as a mediator, a peace seeker, one who fights for justice. And yes, Turkey is not a superpower. Every nation below superpower status has many weaknesses.

Let's not exaggerate what Ankara is doing. All it has done is yell here and there. All the world did that.

So what should we do? Destroy our relation with israel without good reason?
Again, nothing will happen to your relations unless AK party does something incredibly stupid and it won't as long as derin devlet is in power, don't worry (though I wish it happened for Armenia's benefit )

Venezuela expels Israel envoy over Gaza attacks

CARACAS, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Venezuela expelled the ambassador to Israel on Tuesday in protest over the offensive in Gaza only hours after leftist President Hugo Chavez called the attacks a Palestinian "holocaust."

The socialist Chavez, a harsh critic of Israel and the United States, in recent years has frequently withdrawn Venezuela's diplomatic envoys amid bilateral disputes and last year kicked out the U.S. ambassador over a conflict involving allied Bolivia.

The OPEC nation's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Israel's campaign constituted "flagrant violations of International Law" and the use of "state terrorism."

"For the reasons mentioned above, the government of Venezuela has decided to expel the Ambassador of Israel and part of the personnel of the Embassy of Israel," the statement said.

The Israeli embassy did not respond to phone calls requesting comment.

Chavez in 2006 threatened to break ties with Israel over its military campaign in Lebanon in a war of words that led both nations to withdraw their envoys.

On Monday he accused Washington of poisoning the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to destabilize the Middle East and justify U.S.-backed Israeli incursions into Arab countries.

Israel is under international pressure to reach a ceasefire with Hamas militants and halt an offensive that has killed nearly 600 Palestinians, including more than 40 in a U.N. school sheltering civilians.

"The Holocaust, that is what is happening right now in Gaza," Chavez said in televised comments earlier on Tuesday.

"The president of Israel at this moment should be taken to the International Criminal Court together with the President of the United States."

The United States, which Chavez describes as a decadent empire, firmly backs Israel -- its principal ally in the region.

                      Hezbollah 'ready to fight Israel'

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, has warned that "all possibilities" are open against Israel as he gave a fiery speech in which he blasted Israel's offensive in Gaza and voiced support for Hamas.

Addressing tens of thousands of supporters via video link at his stronghold in Beirut's suburbs, Nasrallah said: "I say to [Ehud] Olmert [Israel's prime minister], the loser, the vanquished in Lebanon that 'you cannot overcome Hamas or Hezbollah'."

The comments by Nasrallah, whose Shia movement fought a devastating war with Israel in Lebanon in 2006, marked the first time he has spoken so openly on the possibility of a renewed conflict with Israel since the war in Gaza began on December 27.

Nasrallah warned that the 2006 conflict, in which about 1,200 mostly Lebanese civilians were killed, would be "but a walk in the park" compared to what awaits Israel if it launches a new offensive on Lebanon.

In his speech, which marked Muslim holy day of Ashura, Nasrallah said: "Your 2006 war will be but a walk in the park compared to what we have prepared for you in the event of a new offensive.

"We have to act as though all possibilities are real and open (against Israel) and we must always be ready for any eventuality."

"We are ready to sacrifice our souls, our brothers and sisters, our children, our loved ones for what we believe in."

                      Egypt attacked

The Hezbollah leader also reiterated past criticism of Egypt for failing to open its border with Gaza and blasted the United Nation Security Council for not acting to denounce the Israeli offensive that has left nearly 700 Palestinians dead.

"Does the government in Egypt need more than 650 victims and 2,500 wounded to open the Rafah crossing once and for all to help the people of Gaza toward victory?" Nasrallah said.

"I am simply asking for the opening of a crossing and not another front."

He also commended Hugo Chavez, Venezuela's president, for expelling Israel's ambassador to Caracas on Tuesday saying that all countries, including Arab states, must follow his example.

"Arab governments must learn from this great Latin American leader to show their solidarity with the Palestinian people and must cut relations with Israel," Nasrallah said.

Jordan, Egypt and Mauritania are the only Arab countries to have diplomatic relations with Israel.
