Hmm, okay grammar question, so if I say I speak Armenian (Yes Hayereni Khosel em), if I ask do you speak Armenian does it become (Duk Hayereni Khosel ek) or does it change, I read somewhere that the words changes to -um from -el, which is correct?

"I speak Armenian" - You wrote "Yes Hayeren Khosel em." That translates to past tense, "I spoke Armenian."
The correct version here would be "Yes khosum em Hayeren" or "Yes Hayeren khosum em" or "Yes Hayeren em khosum."...Which ever you prefer.


"Duk Hayeren Khosel ek?" - This is also past tense, translating to "Have you spoken Armenian?" The correct version here would be "Duk Hayeren khosum ek?"

Okay next up when compounding sentences, using the I am, You are, He/She/It is, does it stay as Duk...ek, etc. also if someone asks for something like

May I have some avocado?
Would you like some cupcakes?

How do you ask politely, because I did it wrong once and people thought I was demanding stuff lol

Ok. "Duk" is more of the proper way of saying "you"...although, at the same time you can use it while talking to more than one person. You can use "Du" and that would mean directly to the person you're talking to, but like I said, the other way would be a more 'proper' term.

"Can you help me?" -- "Duk karogh ek indz oknel (or ognel in WA)?"

" May I have some avocado?" -- "Kareli eh tal indz Avocado (I don't know the proper term for Avocado in Armenian. lol)?"

"Would you like some cupcakes?" -- "K'sirek torteghen (torteghen = Cakes, in general) ?" (You can also say "Kaghtsreghen" meaning "sweets"... instead of "Torteghen."

Now, I'm sure there may be other ways to translate these phrases, but those are my inputs.

I think the correct term would be "Garogh" in WA, only switching the 'K' to a 'G' and leaving the 'gh' sound alone.
