I think that in the next 10 years Armenia's population is going to grow greatly from what i hear you guys talking about and from what i have overheard my parents talking about with their friends, everyone has a desire to move back to our homeland or to move their for the first time if thats the case and i think if the economy keeps growing at anywhere near what it is now in around 10 years or less it will be a reality for many Armenians to move back. I hope to see all of you guys there.

That is ALL that is needed for Armenia to grow into a strong, non-corrupt country.

No politician in Armenia will attempt to do anything that can stop so many diasporan armenians to return, or move for the first time.

February 1995. I can still remember the day. i was 7 years old and leading up to the day i was so happy because i would be able to see my dad for the first time in 3 years and then when the day came that we were leaving to yerevan to fly from there i rmemeber how everyone was at our house and i was getting dressed up and then i just started crying when i finally realized that i probably wouldnt see my grandparents uncles aunts cousins best friends arsen and aper, and all the other people i had grown up iwth. at that time i didnt even realize how the most important thing that i would miss would be the country itself and the innocent days that i would spend all day outside playing with my friends and now when i think back i can remember all these little details. ohhhhhhhhhhh god how i wish i was there. other htan the welfare of Armenia my other biggest dream is to be able to live in Armenia someday

                    Vay Tigran!
You got me all emotional now..

Reminds me of when I left Syria when I was 4 years old, and how I had to cheer up my grandmother while trying to not cry myself. But, as I look back, there's nothing in Syria, asides from family, that I miss.

It's weird, and maybe difficult for Hayastan-born people to understand, but even when I had never been to Armenia, it felt like I missed it, and when I got there for the first time this summer, it felt like a return home. Didn't have the same feeling when I went back to Syria, except when I walked into my grandmother's house of course.
