The guy in that picture is now a popular rapper in Armenia...I've seen him in videos during my stay in Yerevan.

Well I really do not care. For me this guy is as much of an Armenian as a Indian student studying medicine in Armenia. They both speak Armenian but have nothing to do with Armenia.

And how could I forget how Armenian rap is. It has been around for thousands of years in Armenian history and has nothing to do with African American culture.

You know the old saying: You can take the X out of the Y, but you can't take the Y out of the X.

Or you can avoid the whole thing and don't care or consider it anything other then what it is. And that is not an Armenian.

Yes they can.

WOW they look like a typical Arman/Hrant and Anahit/Gayane and would fit in Armenia without a problem...... not.

I find it disturbing that some Armenians think it is ok to intermix with different races, blacks, asians, indians, what ever but it is wrong to do so with a Turk who is most likly has Greek, Armenian, Albanian, Bosnian, Bulgarian and Anatolian blood and may not be a Turk at all.

Where is this thinking coming to play. Armenians should only mix with Armenians or with Europeans decent. Anything else is going to give Armenia and Armenians different identity.

You seem to forget that whatever mixing that has occurred in history prior to the 1960s when the age of empires was pretty much over,and the rise of the third world and civil rights of all colored peoples was en vogue, mixing was always localized.

The problem with your philosophy is it encourages the mentality of, give them an inch and they will take miles. You are either for the miscegenation of our common folk with every genotype or you are not. And if you are, then the ramification and the logical consequence of it in the end if taken to its extreme is a complete mud looking people with Asian eyes, a black nose, or what have you.

Even my grandparents who existed in the world before political correctness and the rise of diversity, identified otars as otars, asians as asians and blacks as blacks, in the funny word, "sevamort."
