Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

What's wrong with that? You can find a LOT of great girls online that you would normally not meet in person (notice I didn't say "real life") Of course the opposite is also true .. you can run into some very horrible and a lot of entirely average people too. You call it a "virtual" world but I would argue in this virtual world (even in this forum) you get to see a lot more of the true insides of the people that you would ever be exposed to in person.

It'll be a short-lived event. Let him keep talking and you'll see what I mean; I was trying to cut it off before he really got going.

Couldn't agree more with this statement.

If people love each other they can have sex, that is their problem actually. But girls think! if your boy love you so much why doesn`t he want to marry you and have sex after marriage?
I want only one man and partner to be in my life. Nobody`s gonna kill me if I have sex before marriage because that`s my life, but I really don`t want! And I am sure that I`ll be very happy with my husband in future, of coz he`ll be too!
But some armenian men should also think using their brains, not othere parts of body! Sometimes they make poor girls, who loves them with all their heart, have sex with them and afterwards they go away! (if you goo awaayy...)))

I agree with you 100%; whichever man eventually gets to marry you will be truly blessed

I'm not Armenian (I'm British) but I once dated an Armenian girl. She made it very clear to me that we could not have full s*x and I could not, ahem, pleasure her, other than by getting married. Unfortunately there were some differences between us and we split up. If we'd had s*x I think the emotional involvement would have been even greater and so it would have been more upsetting for both of us, and of course it would have made it a lot harder for her to date or marry an Armenian man.

Some people here have said that the hymen is just a piece of skin, it does not matter and it can be broken by riding a bicycle or doing gymnastics as a child. And it can be re-created by a doctor or taken by a rapist. Of course, they are right. I don't think a girl gains any respect or nobility simply by having the physical sign of virginity, she gets it by being pure, which means not having s*x or being pleasured by a man before marriage or pleasuring herself.

Others have said that it is a double standard if men can do things before marriage that women can't. This is also true. But do we really want men and women to be the same? In many ways, women are much better than men. One of their many forms of superiority is that they have greater self control and are capable of much bigger sacrifices. With my ex there were many times she was very aroused and badly wanted to have s*x or an org**m but she was strong and resisted because she wanted these things to happen first with her eventual husband. It was very hard for me but I went along with that, so actually by being strong she made me stronger and purer as well, which is typical of how women help us men to be better people than we would otherwise be

I don't think there is any biological thing here ... what you are saying is a result of learned behaviors. But the big reason women have to show more self control is they face far more negative consequences than men. It is not because somehow they are morally, spiritually, or physically superior.

I guess you weren't rich enough for her. I'm joking but in most cases this is right

That's true for full-on s*x. But women are also better at suppressing their s*xual urged generally. For instance my ex never pleasured herself (she found the idea of women doing that kind of thing rather disgusting) or allowed me to do so for her, whereas she would happily pleasure me (and was very good at it )
