love is when you like someone so much that you won't stop caring about them if they suddenly become an annoying twit or jerk for a day or even all time.
For example, there's always some person whom you may always be at odds with, whether a family member, friend, ex bf/gf, etc, but whom you'd really miss if they died even if you didn't like them all the time.Comment

Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
