This thread has to do with saying "I love you" to a significant other for the first time. Who was the first to say it? What was their/your reaction? Do you even remember?

I say "I love you" when I actually love what the people is, without "sentimental" (kiss, couple and other stuff) engagement of myself. Even to friends.

Actually, I say more often "xxxx you" than "I love you".
Sometimes, I say absolutely nothing, this is the case with you Jan.

I remember the one I said that to. Wow, he was the first to say it to me and it took me a while to say it back. But, I didn't like the fact that he wanted me to say if everytime we hung up the phone. Those words are precious to me, and I don't tend to use them often....actually veryy seldom!

Me too, I mean for the one I'm in love with (I make a nuance between loving some one and being in love, the second being passionnate and out of control).
During my two years relation, I said it twice. Very soon and just before the end.
