Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • I am so lost!

Okay...i have a dillema!! I have been searching for the "perfect guy" (which i don't think there is such thing) but it seems to be in all the wrong PLACES!!

My idea of a "perfect guy" is a guy that is sweet, great personality, has to be able to make me laugh (whenever) and has to be cute!

No guy in this whole world is like that...There is no such thing and if you think there is such thing...SHOW ME or better yet POST ME!!

Sweetie, you're only 15. Aren't you a little young to be having a "dilemma" over the perfect guy?

I think I was scared of boys at your age, hahaha.

Hey Dancer, how about if you stop 'searching'? Even disregarding the fact that you're only 15 and your idea of the 'ideal' 'perfect' guy is definitely going to change (Sure, the basic things are going to stay the same, but I bet if you took a moment to write down on a peice of paper what you want out of a guy and look at it even just 6 months from now, you'll find that you are looking for different things.) Think about this, almost every person that I know who is with someone they like/love/etc has the same story... 'he/she came along when I least expected it'. So go out with your friends and have fun and enjoy the fact that you're NOTapproaching middle-age and your biological clock is ticking so you have to land Mr. Right right now! He'll come along, you can be sure of that. But if you spend unnecessary time worrying about it (even a second of worry is time unnecessarily wasted) you're just putting a wrinkle on what I am sure is your pretty little head. So go enjoy yourself, seriously, be 15! and forget about this 'perfect' guy dilemma. Believe me, time is better spent getting to know your family and friends better, than making a connection with a guy this early on that might or might not last!

As for this part... There ARE plenty of guys out there that fit the bill. I know a few myself. This is why you have to spend time getting to know YOU more before you can find HIM. Appearances and great personalities can be decieving, everything might look great on the surface but when it really comes down to it you need to be with someone who is going to click with you on deeper levels than that. The kind of person where you can just look into his eyes and KNOW what's going on in his head. I think maybe 15 might be a little too early to even find a guy you are SO in-sync with. (But I never judge such things outright, because who am I to say how old the limit is for actually understanding and being in love, right?). Anyway, like I said before, enjoy the freedom, love is a bit more work than a lot of people realize, it should be great and all smiles and happiness but even that must be worked on, that's why a lot of relationships fail. Because people are either too young to realize it or too lazy to put in the work that being in love deserves. That's my two cents.

          Hope it helped!

You're welcome to try me. I don't know how much of a help I'd be! Like I said, I know a few of those 'perfect' guys myself and I'm 21 so you'd think I'd just go for it already?! But it seems I am still trying to find what it is that I am and until I do, I try my best to preserve my friendships so that they won't just hate me for keeping them at bay until I KNOW what I want. I did the whole jumping into a relationship thing and it was great and terrible and awesome all rolled into one, and it taught me some lessons I won't soon forget.... =)

You are too young to be thinking about that. You still have time.....don't be in a hurry to grow up and get serious or even worry about finding the right guy. Honestly though, do you think at 15 you will meet the perfect boy/man? I doubt it. It takes time and when that time comes, you will be, laughing at this thread. hehe.

uh oh, I just sounded like an old woman....I'm only 17...
                I see...
