The first guy raped her. I mean, she did pretty much say, "No" and it was to alcohol, which later led to her losing her virginity. Considering she really did lose her virginity. (she doesn't remember a thing)
I honestly don't understand women who get beaten by their boyfriends and still consider to stay with them.
Why does your friend care about what her x's friends think? He called her a hor, she should call him an abuser.
It is good that she changed her ways and maybe she's more careful right now.I see...

this sounds like what i would hear in the parking lott every morning when i went to high school in calabasas hills... godd too much drama, sounds like something from a soap opera... i think what happened to her sux, but im sure the guy didnt shove down a bottle of alcohol down her throat- she willingly drank it, and got drunk and what happened after was a bit her fault also. but all the other stuff just reflect immaturity, if she made mature choices and dealt with her emotins and problems correcltly she wouldnt be known as a xxxxx... life is not what happens to us, its what we make of it

"Wow, I just realized that this whole story sounds like someone I know".
Me too(multiplied with 10). This is very common id like to add, a part of the hole feminist argument in sweden among teenegers here makes no sense at all, and is about- why shouldnt a girl be able to follow a guy home and Not be expected to do anything or be able to rust him and not fare that something bad will happen or something that is against her will/rape so on.
its so silly, why follow the boy home in the first place!! i mean its obvious and plus if he wants to give you drinks!!?
The girls nag about how they can't do anything, and should be able to go home with a boy without anything happening, but hey why not shut down your brain activity all together right.Last edited by Tres Bien; 07-22-2004, 01:41 PM.

First of all, how can you people blame the girl? To say that if you go to a guy's house, you are asking for sex is SOOOO disgusting, especially coming from females. I know I've gone to a guy's house after the date, and nothing happened! This thread totally proved to me how far we've come along as females: NOT FAR AT ALL!
As far as your friend goes, good luck to her. Tell her that she needs to work on her self esteem because it seems to me that the reason why she's letting guys do this to her is because she doesn't think very highly of herself. Be nicer to her, give her compliments and make sure she understands that by being a woman, she needs to keep her head up high...very high....and face the world and these JERKS with ease and confidence.

Originally posted by sad_eyesI have a question, and if I may ask so, I would ask you to concider your heart, mind and anything to do with traditions if possible. Just be honest. My friend is having a problem with this and I dont know what to say to her, I just need some opinions...thank you so much.
Now, say a girl meets a guy. She thinks he is a good guy and decideds to go to his apartment when he requested a visit of her. There he feeds her alchohol (even though she doesnt drink and if she says no he continues to offer her it anyway) so she drinks it and becomes insanely drunk to the point she doesnt remember almost everything. There he takes her to bed and she loses her virginity. He uses the excuse that he did nothing wrong because she didnt say no, she uses the excuse that he did wrong because she feels he took advantage of her because she was extreamly drunk and could not even remember the sex. Who is right? Anyway, she continues to see him only because she knows later that she lost her viriginity to him and she felt that it was the right thing to do, to remain with him. Later on in their relationship she finds out he is married and leaves him. A few months later her friend says he knows one guy who wants to be with her. He says he is a good guy, someone you can trust and mutually love. She decideds to meet and be with him. Now these two share an incredable bond. They were best friends and both in love. She has sex with him as well. Later on in the relationship he begins to beat her, and treats her badly. She cheats on him 2 times with her first boyfriend because she was drawn to him by him telling her that he loves her he misses her. She tells her current boyfriend what she did and he leaves her. However, they end up back together and his violence only continues. The girl wants to leave him, but felt like she couldnt. She no longer loved him, and did not want to see him anymore. She didnt know what to do. Then one day she meets another guy. Who opens up her eyes about life. For the first time in a long time she was happy, she actually laughed. He made her feel so free. He gave her what she never expected to find again, ---a life. So she decideds to tell her boyfriend that she met someone and she is leaving him. He didnt take it to well, he gets mad and tells lies to his friends about her. He ruins both her and her new boyfriend. She is now known as a xxxxx in everyone of her ex boyfriends eyes, but she feels she didnt do anything wrong and if she did do something wrong, she should not be concidered a xxxxx. Her and this guy are still together. They love each other very much but because the hatred that exists amongst her ex's friends towards her and her new boyfriend they have to somewhat hide their relationship. They want to be together but they dont know what to do. The girl has now changed her ways and is completely different. She feels so horrible about the things she has done in her past and she doesnt know what to do.She wants them to see her for who she is now and not in the past. What should she do?

2 things... (and I'll add more later)
1. I'm sick of hearing girls say I was so drunk I don't remember what happened, I think if a guy sticks his xxxx in you, you'll remember unless you're unconcsious and that would have to be some sick guy. However, I'm pretty sure she wasn't unconscious. I've been to a point of alcohol poisoning back in the day when I was younger and I still remembered what happened, maybe just the little things you forget if it gets to that point. But I hate it when a girl gives that bullxxxx answer of I was drunk and I don't remember what happened. You can even say I was so drunk my inhibitions let loose and I didn't care so I did it. This happened a lot when I was was 17-19, not anymore anyway. Just had to get that out.
2. I hate born again Christians and people that are too religious. It's always those people that have some serious problems and become extremely religious all of a sudden.
Aside from that guy that beat her, I think this is mostly her fault. It's because of the way she is and her personality that all this unfolded. Anyway, thats my short 2 cents for now.
